P.S. This is a tip from one of the mods: https://community.cleanbrowsing.org/topic/please-block-the-following-sites/#post-2098

If one has already configured the device to use fam. filter you can just use (with cmd.exe): nslookup website

These are 2 examples, using fam. filter:
(RESULT 1. Adult site being blocked)
    nslookup redletterchristians.com
    Server: family-filter-dns.cleanbrowsing.org
    Address: 185.228.168.168

    *** family-filter-dns.cleanbrowsing.org can’t find redletterchristians.com: Non-existent domain

    (RESULT 2. Random, accessible site)
    nslookup amazon.com
    Server: family-filter-dns.cleanbrowsing.org
    Address: 185.228.168.168

    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: amazon.com
    Addresses: 176.32.98.166
    205.251.242.103
    176.32.103.205

Here’s some more proxies I found that I can’t report through Categorify (they’re not visible from the main page, only when you go to these paths). Could you please block them?

    Thank you!

Another one that does not show on the main page, but Google and other s. engines link to:

It would be great if https://categorify.org/recategorize had an option for this type of situations.

    Thank you for your work.

You are very welcome, my friend.

And, fortunately, it seems that the website you reported is being blocked by the family filter now.

Maybe they changed something and fixed it again. I’m using the family f., and I get: “Images blocked by safe search.”

@”So you’re saying Categorify may have added the site to its database only when I initially searched for it, and then shown me an automated assessment of content?”

    Oh, yes.

And, depending on what type of content you are reporting, that can be the quickest way to report (if you have a bunch of sites to submit). For instance: When it comes to reporting “Adult” sites, I usually just do a search for them and Categorify classifies them automatically (it rarely tags them in the wrong category). When it comes to proxies, though, it often has trouble detecting them and comes out with a “Technology” result or something like that. So, with certain categories (e.g. proxies) I usually just head over to “/recategorize”. Because I know I’m going to have to manually specify the category anyway.

@”Am I correct in expecting CleanBrowing’s family filter to block any site that is categorized as adult, even if has other categories as well?”

    Yes. E.g.: x-forum DOT net.

@”But that might not have taken effect yet as the 24-48 hour clock actually started when I did my initial Categorify search?”

    Yes.

Yes, when I checked yesterday the “religion” tag wasn’t there. They usually review changes submitted through “/recategorize” fairly quickly.

As of now, it’s still accessible for me, too. Maybe you were the first one to search for it: Categorify scans the site to determine the applicable categories automatically (when it comes to “adult”, in my experience, it almost always detects that correctly).

Yes, I can confirm that it is accesible as of now (using fam. filter). Maybe, it’s because: “It can take 24 / 48 hours for a recategorized domain to be applied.” https://community.cleanbrowsing.org/cleanbrowsing-categorization-engine/

    @cleandns

Yep, same thing has happened to me: community.cleanbrowsing.org/topic/proxy/#post-5662

Here’s how I have been able to post when that happens: I removed the protocol of the URL(s) in my post. I even had this problem several days ago when posting something that mentioned categorify.org. So, the system here seems to detect that you are posting links and it automatically hides your post.

Finally… hehe I had to edit out parts of the urls and that did it. Anyway, they were all up as of the writing of this.

I’m trying to post a bunch of proxies to be blocked but the system doesn’t want to show my post… I wonder if you can see it on your end.
