    Hi

could someone tell me how to set the correct firewall rule on my Asus DSL AC68U router to prevent the clean browser IPv4 DNS address 185.228.168.168 and 185.228.169.168 being overridden at  a local windows IPv4 level.

I have the clean browse DNS settings in place on my router and a firewall rule in place and it works ok to block inappropriate content. But if I then change the IPv4 address locally in MS windows 10 to say a basic open DNS one, and clear the cache on my browser (Opera Browser) windows the appears to ignore the clean browser setting in the router and allows inappropriate content to come through?

    thanks

    James

    Hi James

You might need to use DD-WRT with your Asus router. Think you’re trying to do what we describe here in this article: https://cleanbrowsing.org/help/docs/stop-dns-changes-on-home-networks/

    Thanks

Is there a way to disable it for youtube? I can’t see videos that shouldn’t even be marked as unsafe in the first place
