I have found that the Safe Search image algorithm on DuckDuckGo (my perferred search engine) has a harder time filtering out all the .gif images that have “adult content”. Unfortunately, I don’t see an easy way to remove “Animated GIF” as a type of image to search by, nor to remove the image search option from DDG altogether (as is already done for some other search engines). Any insight if there is a way to limit or remove the image search option in DDG either DNS side or local machine side?
I may end up placing a custom filter/block for DDG and switching my default search engine if this gap in protection proves to be an issue, as some other search engines seem to manage it better.
