CleanBrowsing Conflict with AVG Fake Website Shield

Just want to let you all know that there seems to be a conflict with CleanBrowsing and AVG. It seems their Fake Website Shield feature (yes, real name) is hijacking DNS.

The easiest way to remove the conflict is to disable this feature. You do this by opening AVG Internet Sec., clicking on “Payments” and turning toggle on or off.

I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why they put it under Payments.. so weird.. anyway, disabling it should give you back control of your network. 🙂

    Interesting. Thanks for the feedback.
