Do you mind running a few commands when this happens for us? Just paste those in your terminal (or command prompt):
ping -c 3 1.1.1.1
ping -c 3 8.8.8.8
ping -c 3 185.228.168.10
nslookup -type=txt iptest.whois.dnscontest.cleanbrowsing.org 185.228.168.10
nslookup -q=TXT mylocation.whois.dnscontest.cleanbrowsing.org
It should tell us more what is going on.
